NEET Exam 2021 will be on August 1, 2021 Lets use corona lockdowns a blessing to score more.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National testing agency for the year 2021 is scheduled to conduct on August 1, 2021. Candidates who have passed or appearing for class 12 can enroll themselves for the exam.  It's expected that application forms for enrolling NEET will be made available from the 3rd week of June however due to the cancellation of class 12 exams,  some slight delay is expected.

This test is to select suitable candidates for the admissions of MBBS/BDS/Ayush and Veterinary courses and other undergraduate medical courses in various Medical and Dental colleges and institutions in India.  NEET was first introduced in 2019.  This exam can be written in eleven Indian languages including English and Hindi.

Subjects of the exam: Physics Chemistry and Biology

The syllabus for the NEET exam is very vast.  You will have to brush up on all that you have learned till today in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.  Since the three subjects are very vast, you will have to spend more time and dedication on learning new things.  It’s a challenging task but it's attainable if you are learning in the right way and through the right track of learning.  Time available for you is a challenge you need to undertake.

Tips and Hints: the key to success

The best and easy method of learning is to use maximum tips and hints.  It will help you to remember and apply it when necessary.   Various writings are available on the internet.  You can browse and note them and use them while learning.  Various coaching institutes are also providing numerous tips which are not available on the internet.  Enroll in any of the coaching institutes which you feel better, they will constantly update you with more tips and hints which can place you up the ladder.

Step by step learning according to timetable

Since you are a science liking candidate,  it won’t be a tough task to learn or brush up on your knowledge.  But the common error you may make is to streamline your studies.

Streamlining what you have to cover through this short span of time is absolutely necessary otherwise we will end up spending too much time on one topic and completely omitting other topics and if a good number of questions comes from the topics which you have not covered properly, you will be at the bottom of the rank list and thereby you will lose a good chance of getting medical education from an institution of your choice. We are not here saying that you will fail in the exam and left out of the race because we consider each and every one of you who is reading this article is bright, brilliant, and capable of cracking the test.  So only top-ups we are mentioning here are to increase your learning and improving rank in the test.  So wishing you all the best in advance.

How to make time table? We have to calculate our average study time available and divide it among three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).  After that, you will have to further divide the time into various topics of the subject.  For example, if you have allotted 100 hours for physics, you will have to further allocate this 100 hours to various topics of physics so that you are not missing out on any topic unattended.   Otherwise what will happen is you will spend more time on Physical measurements and fail to get an adequate brush up in Thermodynamics.  So planning is very important in this short span of time available to you.

Chapterwise learning is very important.  NTA is providing the areas to cover, you will be in trouble and will feel in the middle of the sea, not knowing in which direction to swim, if you are not learning chapters.  It will make your study more simple and convenient.

Daily tests and evaluations

Besides learning, you will have to test yourselves again and again.  This will help you to evaluate yourselves and helps you to understand your strong side and weak side.  Attending previous year’s question papers and daily test papers is necessary.  You can download the previous year’s question papers and can use the services of various coaching institutes for daily tests.

Time utilization and using shortcuts.

Another important aspect is timing.  If you are able to attend all the questions within the stipulated time of the exam, you can consider yourselves you have done a fantastic job in preparation.  Being a bright and science-loving student, I am sure you can answer all the questions in the question paper but the only restraint is whether you can answer all the 180 questions within the stipulated time of three hours.   Yes, you can, if you are using various techniques and tools to identify the correct answer.  For that learn maximum shortcuts to find answers.  There are many shortcuts envisaged by the specialists to find out the answer more accurately and with less time consumption.  Please remember the key to crack this exam is to use maximum shortcuts, otherwise, you will end up with several questions unanswered due to lack of time.

Fortunately or unfortunately, we are in Corona Lockdowns.  Many of our movements and activities are either locked up or restricted.  We are going through a difficult phase of our lives.  But if you wish, you can change the corona lockdowns, a blessing in disguise if you plan accordingly.  You are actually getting more time for preparation.  So this year’s competition will be tough considering the fact that students who take up the preparation more scientifically and systematically are getting more time to revision and will score more marks.  So you need to plan accordingly and place yourselves in this group of NEET aspirants.

Let's take up the challenge

So let’s start with NEET challenge.  We are not saying or advising you to spend more time, but only asking you to utilize the time you are spending more scientifically. So start preparing the timetable, use all the resources, take online tests, and compulsorily take the guidance of some professional institutions who are in this field for a long.

How can any professional training Institute help you in scoring more?  The most important thing is,  they are helping you to be on the right track.  They provide tips, shortcuts, and hints.  You can clear a doubt with the professionals in the institute. Periodical evaluation and online tests will help you.  In short, coaching class is not compulsory for victory but it is a helping hand and we should never turn away a helping hand when we are in need of it.

Let’s aim not only to crack on the NEET exam.  But our aim should be to enrolling ourselves in prestigious institutions.  Lets that be our aim to attain.  Wishing all of you all the best in our NEET exams.
